BellaBox May 2012

Yay BellaBox!

1) Sebastian Professional Range RRP from $34 Sample size: 3x 10ml sachets.

Shampoo, conditioner & mask. I LOVED these! My hair felt amazing after using them and especially when heat styling- left my style looking great & silky. I rate these products a 5/5.

2) Savior Faire Lipstick in Classic RRP $48 Sample size: 1.2g

This has to be the tiniest lipstick I have ever seen. Very cute. The colour is way way way too pink for me so I will be giving it away but it feels like a nice lipstick and is also water-resistant. I rate this product a 3.5/5.

3) Bobbi Brown Mini Mascara is Cult RRP $48 Sample size: 3ml

I do love a good Bobbi Brown mascara- they are definitely one of the best out there. A great brush and formula, it made my lashes lovely & long. And I am pretty fussy when it comes to mascara's so this one has impressed me. I rate this product a 5/5.

4) Avene Eau Thermale Moisturiser & Eye-cream RRP $60+ each product Sample size: 5ml/2ml

This included the Ystheal+ emulsion anti-aging treatment & Eluage Contour eye serum. Im excited to try these over the next few days and will get back to how they go!

5) Emerginc Hydra Repair Capsules RRP $139 for 40 capsules Sample size: 4 capsules

Little capsules of wonder serums always interest me. Most brands I have tried always show amazing results so this is another one im very excited to try and to get back to with a rating.

Overall I am really impressed with BellaBox this month. There are some wonderful brands to sample and I am especially happy to be trying out some very high-end skincare products amongst those as well. Expensive skincare is sometimes very difficult to maintain at times and getting the opportunity to try before you buy can become very expensive in the end which is why I love these beauty sample box services. BellaBox has to be one of the best beauty sample box services in my honest opinion and I highly recommend subscribing to them!

Lust Have It! May 2012

So this month was the first month that Lust Have It! was taking on the Glossybox customers and its safe to say I think we were all waiting with baited breath to see what would be in this month's box. Right now I can only think of one word to describe it- wow. I mean, wow!

Firstly I would just like to point out that Lust Have It! have sent out different boxes this month. Ex-Glossybox customers who were not previously subscribed to Lust Have It! will have received a different box to the long-term subscribers like me so if your box is different to mine don't fret!

Secondly, I didn't get my package til very late from the post office this afternoon and am busy tonight so wont have time to properly sample & rate the products so I apologise for having a lack of ratings on the products. I will do this over the weekend after testing them all out properly. Now onto the goodies!

ZOMG its a pink make-up case this month! I am eternally at the mercy of Lust Have It! now for sending out such a gorgeous coloured case. Big smiles all round on that one! Right, enough of that, whats inside?

1) Caron Laboratories Bump eRaiser Medi Paste RRP $16.75 for 30mls Sample size: 30ml (full-sized product)

I have to say I have never used a product for ingrown hairs before. This paste is designed to prevent & eliminate ingrown hairs & bumps on the face, bikini line, legs & underarms and has nice ingredients like tea tree oil & vitamin A. I will give this a go after my next waxing to see how it fares and report back on what I think of it! And just to note this nifty little tube of paste was the winner of the BeautyHeaven.com.au Glosscars Best in Beauty 2011.

2) Nicole by OPI Ultimate Trend Setters Lacquer RRP $14.95 for 15ml Sample size: 3.75ml

I do like the OPI nail lacquers and am super excited to give this a whirl tomorrow night after I finish work in time for pretty nails on the weekend. I got a gorgeous purple colour and the little bottle is so cute. I will rate this when I try it this weekend.

3) Evo The Therapist Calming Shampoo & Conditioner RRP $29.95 for 300ml of each Sample size: 50ml each

I fell in love with the Evo brand after Lust Have It! included their rescue therapy hair mask in a prior box which was just to die for. My hair loved it! I will try this tonight and report on how my hair feels afterwards.

4) Bioderma Crealine H2O Make-up Remover RRP $39.95 for 250ml Sample size: 20ml

I am always on the look-out for good make-up removers. I am currently using a chamomile based remover and I really like it so I am quite picky when it comes to removers. The first thing I noticed about this product was the neutral scent which is a big tick in my books. It has a lovely light texture and removes make-up efficiently and completely. I am quite impressed. I rate this product a 4.5/5

5) Calvin Klein Sheer Beauty Perfume RRP $80 for 50ml Sample size: 1.2ml

Oh how I love perfume samples. It just pleases me so much to find them in these sample boxes. This Calvin Klein scent is so yummy! Very feminine & flirty and light enough for daytime wear yet sexy enough for evening. Yum Yum Yum! I rate this scent a 5/5

6) Lush Dirty Soap RRP $6.95 for 100g Sample size: approx 58g

I am a slave to the wonderful world of Lush products and was super excited to find this in our packs this month. The first thing I notice is the invigorating spearmint scent- it is very strong! I cant wait to try this in the shower tonight although I'm slightly nervous as to whether the zingy scent will keep me up all night!

7) ModelCo Shine Ultra Lip Gloss RRP $22 Sample size: full sized product

I have actually never tried ModelCo before. They have been around forever and I just have never tried them. No idea why. I was lucky to receive a gorgeous light pink shimmery sticky lip gloss which has to be the yummiest smelling gloss I have ever tried. It reminds me a strawberry ice-cream you would get at the fair, its just cruel its not edible! Goes on nice and has a cute shimmer to it. And I do love a wand gloss, especially as this one has a cute little mirror on the side so you don't get it all over your nose! I rate this product a 4.5/5.

Wow what a big review this month. 8 products and all of them looking fantastic even though I am yet to try half of them. Lust Have It! have got to be one of the best beauty sample boxes Australia has to offer and if I had to recommend only one company out of them all Lust Have It! would be it, no questions asked. I am yet to find any faults with this service- the products are amazing, the packaging is always good and the value for money is beyond the $14.95 per month. Do yourself a favour and subscribe to them now!

GlossyBox April 2012

This will be my final post on GlossyBox as most of you may know the company has been taken over by Lust Have It! as of today and this is the final box they are sending out.

1) Blush Amour Nail Polish RRP $4.95 for 18ml Sample size: 18ml (full-sized product).

Its no secret I like getting nail polishes in these beauty sample boxes. I got a lovely metallic burnt orange colour which is really pretty. I did find it to be a little bit streaky and doesn't dry very fast but the colour is nice. I rate this product a 3/5.

2) Mirenesse Tight Liner Hydra Gel Eye Liner RRP $29.95 for 2g Sample size: 2g (full-sized product)

I have this product already in black and this one is an electric blue colour which is very intense. I'm not a big fan of liner pens personally (i prefer to use a brush and a pot of gel liner) and I do find these liners aren't very highly pigmented and need a few applications. I rate this product a 3/5.

3) Redwin Organics Orange & Bergamot Moisteriser RRP $4.95 for 500ml Sample size: 100g

A pretty cheap moisturiser. Has a nice orange scent and is a fairly creamy texture. I rate this product a 2/5.

4) Integrity Cosmetics Protecting Moisteriser RRP $47 for 50ml Sample size: 50ml (full-sized product).

This moisturiser has a really nice scent and a lovely fresh texture. Lots of organic ingredients and zinc for sun protection. I rate this product a 4/5.

5) Rosehip Skincare 7 Precious Oils RRP $60 for 60ml Sample size: 2ml.

A potent serum for improving tone & texture packed with vitamins. This has a very strong scent but for an oil it does absorb quite easily and is non-greasy and left my skin feeling surprisingly glowing. I rate this product a 4/5.

Also in this months box was a $25 gift voucher to The Iconic (after minimum spend $49) which is pretty good and I might use it to buy some perfume this week. There was also a 15% voucher on any full-sized Integrity Cosmetics skin care which I probably wont use.

Overall an okay box from GlossyBox and for their final box I really wasn't expecting anything amazing. I have been increasingly disappointed each month with GlossyBox and was happy to hear to Lust Have It! had bought them out as I was no longer going to subscribe to them.
